Background of the Event:
World Surfing League (WSL) together with Surfing Federation of Sri Lanka (SFSL) are organizing World Surfing League Qualifying Series 3000 in Arugambay, September 2019 to position Sri Lanka in the world Tourism map as a hot spot specially in adventure and surf tourism.
The World Surf League (WSL) being the most organized world surfing body in the world, and it has been home to the professional surfing since its inception in 1976, and while its mission of determining World Champions is anchored in incredible performers and exotic locations. The WSL regularly organizing Championship Tours, Qualifying Series, Big Wave Tours, Junior Tours, and Longboard Tours.
